This is a guide with a few hints to help you enjoy your day at our Boot Sales, which are professionally run with efficient friendly staff who are there to help and guide you with any questions you may have.
Set-up time means you can arrive from that time, so if it is better for you to arrive later that is fine you will not be turned away.
When packing your car if possible pack your tables last, when you are unloading it is much easier if you have your tables out and can put your boxes etc., straight onto the tables.
Bring a friend or some-one with you, if you need to leave the stall to use the toilet or get a coffee/food from our catering van, also you will be busy at our sales and usually need a partner.
If it is your first time at a Boot Sale once you are shown to your position, just wait a few minutes before setting up, so you can have a look around you and see how other Booters are setting up, my staff are always there to help you.
One golden rule is wrap up well !!!! Early morning until late April it can be quite cold, once the sun comes out it is lovely, so put a coat on or in the car just in case.
Bring change i.e. £10.00/£5.00 notes £1.00 coins and some smaller, many buyers come to our Boot Sale and buy so much they have to go the cash machines and only have £20.00 notes, it would be disappointing to lose a sale because you didn’t have enough change.
At our sites we are extremely busy and ask you to stay until 1’o clock, this is for Health and Safety reasons. The public come in until 1’o clock and it is dangerous for vehicles to leave before this time, however @ 1’o clock we can get you off site very quickly and safely, it there is any emergency and you have to leave please see a member of staff, please do not just try and leave our site. I am happy for you to start packing up @ 12.30 our sellers are usually off site within 15 mins.
Finally I hope I have covered everything, please feel free to contact me via email if you have any further questions, we look forward to seeing you and hope you enjoy your day with us.
